Movements of the Soul x Portraits of Nature

A body-conscious dance workshop

Saturday 22.8 at 12.00-13.30

Craving authenticity, freedom, and depth of movement? Now’s your chance to dance exactly as only you can.

Together we’ll do gentle yet deeply attuned exercises that soften body and heart, bringing your own nature into movement. The goal is to learn to listen to your own life force and let your body move in the way that’s natural to it. You’ll move in your own style, I’ll guide you with impulses to draw from, since the right boundaries can actually free you to explore new qualities of movement. There’s no rushing here; our only aim is to enjoy our body, our movement, and our life.

The exercises draw inspiration from Continuum Movement, the Wild Body concept, and Tero Saarinen’s movement language. No prior dance experience is needed, this is more of a movement meditation, though even experienced dancers will find fresh insights.

At its best, the workshop expands your space to freely be yourself, boosts your confidence, and deepens your bodily experience of how your own movement can feel. Come explore the depths of your own body and the calm at the center of your soul, in Olosauna’s Lounge, whose walls are enriched by the stunning images of the Nature Portraits photo exhibition.
