In the Olosauna café, you can relax even outside the sauna. We offer local, nutritious treats and refreshing drinks – with or without bubbles. The café is open to everyone, including those who just want to enjoy the atmosphere.
At Olosauna, you’re welcome to enjoy your sauna drink just the way you like it. Drinks can be enjoyed both in the sauna and out on the pier. Bringing your own beverages is not allowed, but our selection offers plenty of options for every taste and occasion.

Olosauna was born out of a longing. A longing to return to the roots of humanity. To create a space where one can simply breathe and be. No roles, no rush, no need to perform.
Armi Ruusuvirta is a true force of nature in the experience and event industry. She doesn’t just dream up wild ideas. If she decides to build a floating village sauna, it happens.
Olosauna is built with fierce heart, bold vision, and the unstoppable determination known as Finnish sisu. But more than anything, it is the result of a shared vision.
Together with Ilmari Mäenpää – composer, multidisciplinary entrepreneur, and founder of Olokoto – the right form was found: modern and timeless, all at once. Refined in design, soulful in spirit.
Everyone deserves a place that asks for nothing more. A place where we are enough – simply as we are.

How to get to Olosauna
Olosauna is easy to reach by foot or bike – and we warmly recommend arriving this way. A new pedestrian bridge brings you right next to the sauna, along beautiful waterfront paths.
Whether you come walking, cycling or by car, you’ll enjoy a refreshing dose of nature in one of Oulu’s most scenic spots.
There are a few free two-hour parking spaces at the end of Vaakunantie.
